Why we’re excited…
We are excited to say that we are now carrying Crowson wines! Spread Oaks Ranch has a large focus on sustainability and our farm/field to table dining. We pride ourselves on the experience we’re able to provide our guests when they stay with us, and our excellent, thoughtfully created cuisine is definitely a large part of that. Crowson Winery is now adding to that experience.
A bit about Crowson
They opened their tasting room in Johnson City, TX in 2018 and have been making outstanding wine ever since. The philosophy behind the way they produce their wine is precisely on par with the philosophy behind the food at Spread Oaks Ranch. Keep it natural. They refer to it as a “zero to zero” method of wine making. Nothing in, nothing out. It’s an approach that has been used for centuries, is beautifully unique, and reaps an exquisite product that is better than most!
What kinds of wine do they make?
Their grapes are grown and harvested throughout various regions of Texas, and processed in Johnson City. They have curated the perfect variety to sip on, including Malbec, Syrah, Zinfandel, Tannat, Montepulciano, Mourvedre, Sangiovese, Rose and Malavasia Bianca. There’s something for everyone and to compliment any meal! Crowson Winery has been featured in Texas Monthly on more than one occasion, among other publications, for good reason. Their product is of exceptional quality!
