2020 has been quite a year, but we have much to be grateful for here at Spread Oaks Ranch!
First of all, we’re extremely thankful for our health and the health of our guests. Second of all, and despite the fact that we were all coping with and managing our lives amidst a worldwide pandemic, we were fortunate enough to host small, private groups and families at our ranch on a regular basis. We are always thrilled to share all of the beauty and peace that Spread Oaks Ranch has to offer!
Hunting season has been packed with incomparable duck and deer hunting, as well as helicopter hog hunting, and our guests have all been tremendously happy with their time at Spread Oaks Ranch! Some even booked their stay with us for hunting season next year before they left our property. In fact, we’re already 75% booked for the 2021 hunting season!
We’ve been able to offer and accommodate some fun combinations of activities for different groups this year! Duck hunting in the morning and bay fishing in the afternoon, bay fishing in the morning and helicopter hog hunting in the afternoon, and more. Our skeet shooting range and infinity pool saw plenty of activity too!
On a fun, side note, this was the year of the puppy!!! Our Spread Oaks Ranch family got TWO new puppies (Zeus and Millie) and they’ve had a blast exploring the ranch! Zeus was also very excited that we were featured in Garden & Gun magazine this year!
We want to thank all of our guests for continuing to choose Spread Oaks Ranch for their vacation and hunting destination. It’s been a true privilege to host every single person! Also, we want to thank our staff for ALL of the hard work and for always maintaining a safe and clean environment for our guests and families, especially during this pandemic.
There is a lot to look forward to in 2021. First on the list to start our “social season” is a concert weekend with Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis, March 5-7, 2021. We still have a few tickets for sale, so check out the details on our website! It’ll be a weekend packed with great cuisine, fun activities for all, and a private concert by two of Texas’ most beloved singers/songwriters.
